Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Yeah I know its already the 6th Raya but I was busy so, to all Muslims;

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Mohon Maaf Zahir dan Batin jika ada salah dan silap! :)

My Raya started in my very own house, well my parent’s that is. On the evening we journeyed back to Kedah. A nice 5 hour and a half journey. Tiring but was not driving so kind off fine. Went to a few relative’s houses, went all the way to Perlis while having lunch near Langkawi ferry (the one at Perlis), then another painful journey back home. More than 6 hours I believe due to heavy traffic. But this time, I’m driving. Damn it. Should’ve drove back to Kedah instead of back to KL –_-“

Had  a rest on Wednesday and a date with my girl. Both of us aren’t really in Raya swing, but a date is a date. :D

Yesterday went to Muadzam for my bro’s ‘merisik’ and while we’re at it, ‘meraya’ as well. All is well, the engagement date is still floating currently due to a request by the other party. There’s also the problem on our side due to the elderly. Muadzam ain’t near; about 3 hours drive. So the timing to depart from here and there as well must be planned properly. We the young ones (includes my parents) are fine any other way. But we have to cater for the elderly. Either do it all in one day, or spent the night there. So the date and plan will be probably be determined later on.

Today, no idea yet. Heard going to a relative’s house at Sg Besi late afternoon (after prayers whatever it is).

As for my ‘duit raya’. Well… bad luck. Nothing. Well I am working so no surprise there but it’s not like I have a fixed monthly salary. Back to being poor and broke. Sad case really~

Raya

Well, Ramadhan is reaching its end and Syawal is about begin which means, well, Raya of course.

This Raya around, didn’t do much preparation. Got a baju melayu of which I bought the wrong colour during my convo of which I still have not taken at the tailor yet. Previously due to lack of money but couple of days ago, my mum kinda donated some so I can finally take it. Maybe tomorrow I’ll just rempit my way there. Kajang is a hell during Raya. Caught in it for about an hour last 2 Raya trying to find a parking. I sure for hell ain’t going to do that again.

As for normal Raya clothing, well nothing major. Just one single shirt. No t-shirts or jeans. Nothing fancy this time around.

As with traditions, people that works, will be the ‘giver’ this time around. Can’t be on the receiving end anymore which really sucks since I am way poorer that any student right now. A sad case really.

Anyways, on to few last days of Ramadhan~

97 vs 95

So on 1st of September, RON95 went official. Pretty much all stations sells it. But, what happen to 97? Of all the Petronas stations I went, all of them are void of RON97. Every each station and pumps is RON95. I don’t exactly mind since I just drove a Saga (or Savvy now since my Saga is pretty dead broken) but what about those people that wants 97 or even worse, need it as a minimum requirement to their car.

While some car like mine are fine and dandy with 95, a much more powerful car will list out RON97 as its bare minimum. There was a list I read somewhere that even though most of ‘em are RON95 capable, there are still quite a few RON97 minimum-required. What will happen to those people? Suck on V-Power? Since that’s the only higher performance fuel I can easily spot. 

Well I could be a little biased since I only made my visits to Petronas. None on other stations but still, the less the worse it is for people who actually needs it right? Whatever happen to choices?
